This is where the dealer will select a category and then the supplier to search. If they search “all” they will get all products that are available.

Dealers can also search by vehicle. If your product is not vehicle specific, when they choose your brand and vehicle, it will not bring up the drop down search options.

When searching by product name or part number the dealer is still required to choose a supplier to narrow the search. To view all products available on program the dealer would use the Accessories Guide. (This guide is created by Stellantis).

In the API you will find a Products section. This section is broken up by the different search options the dealers have: all products, by manufacturer part number, by name, or by vehicle. Each type expands to show the requirements for how the data should be sent through the webservice for each search. (Search by vehicle is the only one not required.) When a dealer does a search we will do a call to the webservice to get your details based on the search type.

Search Results

The search results page is where product details are displayed.

Images come from API (Product media Schema) The blue product name comes from the API Under this is the description, also from the API.

This can be as much or as little info as the supplier can provide. However, we would like to have at least a brief description.

The price does not come through the API. This is stored by AMI based on what is provided from Stellantis.

Product Details

When a product is selected from the search, product details are displayed. Name, Image, Product details, Manufacturer part number and Inventory (in stock quantity) all come through the API.

Again price does not come from the API and neither does the Mopar Part Number.

Orders

Once an order is placed AMI will send through the API the part number, qty, dealer reference, and dealer code.

Supplier should use the Dealer Info API to load dealer details (address etc.) into their internal system to match to the dealer code we provide. This should be checked at least weekly for updates.

Through the API, we require order status updates to be sent (processing status shown in the example). We will continuously check for updates (until delivered), shipping method (UPS carrier shown in example), and once shipped, the invoice number and tracking number, which are required. All status updates are helpful but delivered is a required update as it is what triggers our billing process.

Invoicing

Once an order has been delivered and we receive that status this completes the process.

An invoice number is also required to be sent through the webservice under the order process prior to delivery. The supplier does not bill the dealer directly. AMI sends all billing details to Mopar once a delivered status and invoice number is received. This will start the Net payment terms for the supplier. At that time Mopar will bill the dealer on their Mopar statement and process payment to the supplier (per the net terms).
