What started in Miami, then expanded in Glendale, Ariz., is reaching a whole new level for this year's big game. At least six different entities are using Segway PTs to move about the complex in and around Raymond James Stadium. There will be a total of more than 25 Segway PTs in use to support public safety, television and event production, and even assist stranded motorists to get back on the road.

Here's a quick overview of who's using Segway PTs at the events leading up to and during this year's game:
Tampa Police & Fire – Supervisors are using Segway PTs to respond more quickly to potential safety concerns and move about the secured area more efficiently.
NBC Sports – Production staffers are using Segway PTs to move tape and scripts between four primary production locations; including one that's in the stadium at the pirate ship. It's part of NBC's ‘Green is Universal' efforts.
AAA Auto Club South – AAA is providing free roadside assistance atop Segway PTs to assist stranded motorists with auto lockouts, won't starts, flat tires and other services. They're enjoying the maneuverability and environmentally friendly benefits of the Segway PT.
Tribe Productions – The two art directors for the pre- and half time show are using Segway PTs to move efficiently between the staging area and the field. They're using the Segway x2 with universal cargo mounts.
Medical Sports Group – As a part of emergency planning and preparedness, they're using Segway PTs to support prevention and response services to the NFL.
