RELIABLE & COMPACT

The RMP 210 has two lithium-ion batteries that provide a runtime of ~8 hours of operation or ~24 hours in standby. To charge the batteries, simply connect the charger cable.

With its small footprint and ability to turn in place, the RMP 210 is ideal for applications where the propulsion system is meant to be unobtrusive. At only 481 mm (18.9 inches) tall, the RMP 210 leaves plenty of room for mounting other equipment wherever you need it. The final product is limited only by your imagination.

POWERFUL & CONTROLLED

With a maximum velocity of 8.0 m/s (18 mph) and a peak torque of 50 N-m per wheel, the RMP 210 is capable of moving incredibly fast. This means there’s plenty of headroom to perform flawlessly with payloads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

All this power is under your control via commands sent over Ethernet, USB or CAN bus. The RMP acts as a single unit as it receives commands, performs the requested actions and provides feedback at up to 100 Hz.

The performance characteristics and amount of feedback are configurable. You can control how the RMP responds to commands so movement is smooth and controlled. In addition, you can limit the amount of feedback provided so you only see the variables that matter to you.

One Interface, Many Mobility Platforms

Segway’s entire RMP line shares a single communications structure. This makes it easy to change mobility platforms, even at a late stage in development. If your requirements change you don’t have to worry about rewriting your control software; simply swap one RMP for another and keep going.

Includes the standard RMP 210 base UGV platform without any extras for those that prefer to buy their robot system components a La Carte. Start with the RMP 210 then add your own host PC and application-specific sensors. The RMP’s communications interface is open architecture and controller agnostic allowing you to create your own drivers using our examples and API documentation.

The RMP 210 base UGV platform was selected by NVIDIA for their “Carter” reference design robot. Use NVIDIA’s Isaac robotics software platform and the RMP 210 Jetson Xavier developer package to create, train, test, and deploy your own autonomous robot applications.
