My Segway PT is my only form of transportation

In 2005, my life changed forever. After unsuccessfully trying various scooters and motorbikes, I purchased my first Segway PT, an i-180. I don't drive a car; therefore my Segway PT is my only form of transportation. Although good Southern California weather accommodates me most often, I nevertheless ride it daily, rain or shine. On January 29, 2008, I purchased a Segway i2, realizing the improvements in its LeanSteer design and InfoKey technology. It has held up great… with just minor maintenance – tires do wear out, you know!

With careful battery-charge planning, it is not uncommon for me to travel over 200 miles per week. I take my Segway PT to work, church, class, my bank, and to visit friends and family. My trusty, reliable Segway PT takes me everywhere.

Since then, I've ridden an amazing 20,000 miles on my i2 without ever having a service issue and I have never replaced the two Lithium-ion battery packs that travel up to 24 miles on one charge! Segway Inc. appreciated my story so much that they traded my old Segway PT for a brand new one. My trusty Segway PT will be proudly displayed in their corporate office. I'm in love with my new i2 and looking forward to hitting my next 20,000 miles!

I purchased my Segway PT from Segway Orange County. My purchasing experience was exceptional. I was treated professionally, with care and patience. In addition to selling Segway PTs, Segway Orange County also offers tours of Newport Beach and Balboa Peninsula, CA.

This document will provide you with guidelines on how to properly maintain your Segway PT during the cooler winter months.
