Segway Advanced Development Media Center - photos - video

A collaboration between Segway and General Motors/SAIC, the EN-V project sets a vision for transportation in 2030 at Expo 2010 Shanghai China. EN-V, short for Electric Networked-Vehicle, is a fully functional two-person vehicle with advanced dynamics, connectivity, and sensory capabilities. It combats urban congestion while being environmentally-friendly and fun.  It's our expression of a "Better City, Better Life."

EN - V項目是由 美國Segway公司 和 美國通用汽車 / 中國上汽集團 共同協作,並將於2010年中國上海世博會內,前瞻性地展示2030年的理想交通工具。EN-V 譯作“電動網絡化運輸工具”,是一台可供二人乘坐之全功能運輸工具,配備先進動力,連接性系統和感應功能。它既能克服城市交通堵塞問題,亦可兼顧環保意識和體驗駕駛樂趣,充份體現了「城市,讓生活更美好」的理念。

DIVERSE DESIGN

Meet Jiao (Pride), Xiao (Laugh), and Miao (Magic). Designed by General Motors’ design studios in Germany, Australia, and the U.S., each is built from carbon fiber to have its own personality and function. They’re all built upon the same Segway-powered drivetrain chassis.

多元化設計

“嬌”(驕傲)、“笑”( 歡笑)、“妙”(魔幻),分別由 美國通用汽車公司屬下之 德國設計工作室,澳洲設計工作室和美國設計工作室 設計,全部均由碳纖維建造,每台分別擁有自己獨特的個性和功能。它們全部的動力系統均由Segway的底盤所驅動。

A POWERFUL PLATFORM

The EN-V drivetrain packs a significant amount of power and processing in a tight package. It enables ultimate design flexibility while creating a common interface to plug in user interface and automated controls. The coaches then affix and serve more like fashion while adding social networking and other communications capabilities.

EN - V動力系統配備了高效能的能量和密封式的運作。它包含了終極設計之靈活性,更同時提供了一種通用界面以接駁用戶界面和自動化控制功能。駕駛艙內添加了時尚色彩之同時,亦增強了社交網絡和其他傳訊功能。

ADVANCED DYNAMICS

Each EN-V drivetrain is equipped with new automated slide mechanism technology. This separates the battery area from the chassis that contains the motors, electronics and sensors. The result is a vehicle that has high performance capability in a footprint that’s about a third of a traditional auto. Dynamic stabilization also enables all EN-V concepts to literally turn on a dime and travel or park in tight spaces.

每台EN - V動力系統均配備了嶄新的自動化滑翔機制。此系統把電池區和包含了摩打,電子系統和感應器的底盤分隔。故此造就了一種相比傳統汽車祇有三分之一部件數量、擁有高效能之運輸工具。其動態穩定系統亦同時能令所有EN - V概念車非常經濟地操作,以及方便於狹窄空間駕駛或停泊。
