In February, 2018 Judy was appointed President of Segway Inc. Judy joined Segway in June 2015 as the Vice President of Finance. She is responsible for all aspects of Segway’s financial management including accounting, financial reporting, strategic planning and budgeting. Judy is a CPA and CGMA with over 15 years of experience in every facet of finance.
Prior to Segway, Judy worked in both public accounting and private industries where she held progressive accounting and financial management positions. Her considerable manufacturing industry experience included stints with Schneider Electric and InterGen. Judy holds an MBA in Finance from New Hampshire’s own Whittemore School of Business & Economics at UNH, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Russian Studies from Peking University in China. Judy speaks fluent Mandarin.
Fran joined Segway in the newly created role of Vice President, Engineering and Supply Chain in March 2014 after consulting with the Company for several months. In his current role, Fran is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, the technical design support and applicable product development of Segway’s product line as well the supply chain activities to optimize material acquisition and delivery.
Fran has several years of engineering and program management experience at a wide range of U.S. and international automotive, electronics, technology and manufacturing companies. Prior to joining Segway, he held senior and strategic positions at organizations including M*Modal, Centrum Climate/VistaPro Automotive, Visteon and Ford Motor Company. Fran holds a Master of Science in Computer Control Theory from Wayne State University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science both from Ohio University.
Gene joined Segway in June 2008. In 2011, he took on the role of Vice President, Global Service. He is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all aspects of Segway product repair worldwide and ensures that Segway’s exacting customer service standards are consistently met. During his tenure, Gene also held the positions of Director of Global Service and Service Manager, North America.
Prior to joining the Company, Gene worked in the automotive industry for multiple years at companies including General Motors, Porsche, Audi and Saab. He also served in the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Defense Artillery. Gene earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and graduated with honors from Nichols College.
Stephan recently returned to Segway in October 2017 and is responsible for all Sales, Marketing and Customer Service for the Americas. Previously, he was with Segway from July 2001 through October 2008. His extensive experience with Segway involves Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Regulatory, Training, Business Development and establishing the entire original distribution network for all of Asia and Latin America.
Between Segway stints, Stephan was International Sales Director for Yakima Products and launched their entire global distributorship network. His prior professional experience was in large scale Project Management in the Pulp and Paper industry.
He is a graduate of Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, having earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science with Specialization in Economics and a Minor in Spanish. Stephan fluently speaks Portuguese, Spanish, French, English and Dutch.
Roxanne joined Segway in August 2006 and currently serves as its Risk Manager and Senior Paralegal. She manages the Legal Department including litigation matters, transactional issues, insurance, contracts and Segway’s intellectual property portfolios.
Prior to joining the Company, Roxanne was a Litigation Paralegal for the law office of Donahue, Tucker & Ciandella, PLLC. She has also held various positions in the banking industry. Roxanne earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Science and graduated with honors from Hesser College.
