In our continuing tradition of providing owners with only the highest-quality products, we're pleased to let you know of a few new accessories coming this summer.

The Chrome Wheels offer a metallic finish that will help turn your Segway PT into a custom machine and turn heads along the way. Includes standard tire and complete wheel assembly; for i Series only. The Segway PT Hauler allows you to bring your Segway PT along with you by auto. It attaches to a standard 2-inch trailer hitch receiver. The design of it allows you to lift and secure your Segway PT with ease. The Segway PT Cover protects your Segway PT from the elements in storage or in transit. Compatible with the Segway PT Hauler, it has a reflective logo for added visibility. The Golf Bag Carrier turns your Segway PT into your own personal caddy without modifications. The carrier stabilizes your machine when it comes to rest for easy rider dismount and club access. It also allows the use of your own golf bag.

Summer's coming and it's time for a refresher.
Summertime is Segway-time! This summer, ensure your Segway PT is ready for all the outdoor riding you'll be doing in the sun:

• Check your air tire pressure monthly. The tire condition of the Segway PT should be inspected each time you ride. The air pressure in the tires should be set at the pressure stated on the wheel label near the inflation valve.
• Clean your Segway PT with plain soap and water and a soft cloth. Do not use a power washer because this could drive water into components that must stay dry. Do not try to clean the mat or tires with any specialized cleaners because these products may reduce traction.
• In hot conditions, you can improve battery charging by moving the Segway PT out of the sun or off hot asphalt. The Segway PT will charge more quickly in an air-conditioned environment. Try to store your Segway PT indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
• Remember to secure your Segway PT when leaving it unattended. While the Segway PT cannot be started without your unique key, it can still be a target to thieves.
  
• While the Segway PT was engineered for most outdoor environments, you should still avoid slippery surfaces, loose materials, steep slopes and obstacles. We recommend that you step off and use Power Assist mode when uncertain.
  
• Please be careful lifting and loading your Segway PT and always lift using your legs (not your back).

Segway teams with Indy's Panther Racing.
If you're a fan of the Indy 500, you may have caught a glimpse of our Segway logo on the Panther Racing yellow #4. What you may not have seen is the high-tech support that several i Series Segway PTs were providing to the team around the track.

This summer, Segway Inc. is pleased to support the Panther Racing team in the Indy Racing League (IRL) and the Brian Stewart Racing team in the Menards Infiniti Pro Series at events across the U.S. Team members are using Segway PTs in many ways to both enhance their productivity and increase visibility at events. For example, mechanics use Segway PTs to shuttle parts and tools while team owners and public relations representatives use them to move between the paddock and hospitality area to stay in touch with sponsors and special guests. Even drivers use the versatile Segway PT to attend press events and to get to and from the track.

Keep an eye out for Tomas Scheckter and Jesse Mason, drivers of the IRL Panther Racing #4 and Brian Stewart Racing #3, respectively, riding Segway PTs at racing events this summer!

SegwayFest! 2004 is the second annual gathering of Segway PT owners and enthusiasts organized by Innoventions, Inc.
