Sales Manager, Tours (Based in Florida)
Segway Inc. is searching for an experienced Sales Manager to expand its tour business in the Southeast Region of the US. With over 500 independent tours across the world, individuals experience a fun way to get around and view various sites on a Segway® Personal Transporter (PT).
The Sales Manager, Tours would be based in the state of Florida and would call on major hotel chains and resort properties to show them the value of running a tour from their property. In addition, the Sales Manager will need to travel up to 70% of the time within the Southeast Region of the US to reach out to prospective partners and will generate and close sales for product in assigned regions.
What we’re looking for:
- A self-directed, persuasive salesperson with 5-10 years related experience; including cold calling
- Prior experience selling into major hotel chains and resorts (rolodex of contacts highly desirable)
- Sales experience in destination management industry a plus
